Scope
The "Roads to Mastery" project, launched by the Bușteni International House of Artists Association, at the initiative of the Romanian violinist Iuliana Münch Geambașu, in partnership with Kaufland Romania - and later supported by other sponsors - was born from the desire to offer these young people the chance for an authentic artistic future.
Project type
In addition to the constant support offered over two years and the exceptional quality of the teachers involved, the complete free participation places this program in a special category. There is currently no other project in Europe that offers such a framework of artistic support to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
In Romania, in the classrooms of music schools, young people with exceptional musical talent are hiding. However, for many of them, the path to an international artistic career is difficult. The causes are multiple: coming from disadvantaged areas, lack of financial support from families and the absence of teachers specialized in classical music in many regions of the country. Without access to a solid musical education and without the guidance of experienced mentors, these talents risk being lost.
