International Music Residencies
Scope
The goal of the project was to prepare young people for international competitions and develop sustainable professional collaborations between artists from different countries, in an environment of excellence, inspiration and friendship through music.
Project type
In addition to the constant support offered and the exceptional quality of the teachers involved, the complete free participation places this program in a special category.
The first edition of the Bușteni International Music Residencies focused on the violin as the main instrument, as well as chamber music with piano.
The second edition of the Bușteni International Music Residency was dedicated to chamber music for violin and piano.

The initiative brought together young musicians from Romania and Germany, who worked under the guidance of prestigious artists and university professors. These were violinists Ute Hasenauer and Benjamin Ramirez from the Cologne University of Music, cellist Andrei Ioniță, pianist Dietmar Nawrot from the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music in Leipzig, and the chamber music ensemble Parfenov Duo.
